Visit the Grounds of the U.S. Capitol where USPAACC planted the Oak Tree to commemorate USPAACC’s 20th Anniversary, May 25, 2005 and the Maple Tree planted on USPAACC’s 25th Anniversary, May 25, 2010. The "Prosperity Trees" take root near the corner of Independence Avenue and First Street SW across from the botanic gardens located on the Capitol Square. The ceremony was symbolic of USPAACC’s years of dedicated service and assiduous work on behalf of the Asian American business community. It also signified the celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, which is annually proclaimed since 1989 by incumbent Presidents each May.
