USPAACC strongly believes in investing in our future leaders. Since 1989, over a million dollars in scholarship benefits have been awarded through USPAACC. Major corporations have established their Hallmark Scholarships with USPAACC, and Asian American businesses have stepped forward to support the Scholarship Program and endow their own scholarships.
Today, between ten and twenty scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $5,000 each are being awarded every year to high school seniors nationwide for their post-secondary education. Over 2,000 applications are received annually.
Scholarship recipients will be awarded at CelebrAsian 2012 Business Opportunity Conference during June 4-6, 2012 at the Marriott Bethesda North Hotel & Conference Center in Bethesda, Maryland. All expenses will be paid, and award recipients will be able to meet with industry and community leaders as well as government officials.
Following is a list of the Scholarships we have offered, listed in no particular order: UPS, PepsiCo, McDonald’s, CBS Broadcasting, Darden Restaurants, Home Depot, Volvo for Life, Wal-Mart, Bruce Lee, Ken & Pan Fong, Lee & Papa $ Associates, Ruth Mu-Lan Chu & James S.C. Chao, Telamon, Paul Shearman Allen & Associates, Drs. Poh Shien & Judy Young, Asian American, Planned Systems International, and Jackie Chan.
